Carpe Diem Cebrnet Sauvignon & Merlot & Malbec & Syrah 2008

This wine caught my eye with its name: "Carpe Diem". It means: Live the moment! Enjoy Life! in Latin. These are words of a poet from Rome called Horacii. Is there a more appropriate name for a bottle of red wine in a romantic evening?

A few words for the bottle. It looks very stylish. Although I cannot really read all the words on the label, I must say that Latin sounds somehow aristocratic and gives the uniqueness of the bottle.

The wine is Cebrnet Sauvignon & Merlot & Malbec & Syrah. What a combination! Vintage 2008. Bulgarian from the famous Thracian land.

The colour of the wine is ruby with a violet shade. The smell is light and fruity. The taste is very pleasant - not too strong but your head goes around from the first glass. The combination of four varieties leaves a unique feeling in your month. It tastes somehow different.

I would recommend this wine for a cosy and pleasant winter night in, just like the one I had. It's a wonderful table dry wine for evening emotions.
