The wine I chose to drink tonight is also from the Thracian region in Bulgaria, also vintage 2008. Strangely, this time I picked up the wine because it is made by one of the famous wineries in Bulgaria - Sakar Lubimets, and also because of the different variety: Merlot & Pinot Noir. However, it was a little dissapointment. The wine did not leave any feeling of satisfaction. The taste was a little sour and too conventional for my taste.
The bottle was also nothing special. The coulour was ruby and the smell is a little heavy.
I woudn't recommend this wine for a special evening. Although maybe with a pleasant company and smooth jazz music, any wine would be appreciated.
