Katarzyna Le Rose 2009

Yes, it's summer and it's time for Rose! And we opened the season with the best rose I have tried so far: Le Rose by Katarzyna Estate. It was recommended to us by the waiter in a lovely restaurant in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria) - Uniqato.

The bottle of Le Rose is stylish and cool with a summer playfulness in the shape and romantic french style in the label. Typical for this winery, every detail of the wine experience is carefully observed. Aromatic and fresh, the wine has a light and fruity taste.

A recommendation for the summer! Drink with ice and fresh salads and fruits.

Bi Cycle Rose Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah 2009

I have to say that Minkov Brothers estate is my new favourite. I recently tried their rose Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah and I totally fell in love with it! Fresh, fruity and a bit bitter taste with a splendid red colour, which is very charming and attractive. Well balanced taste, rich tannins and a taste of berries and other summer fruits.

A recommendation for the wine and the winery!

Wein Galerie Rotling 2008

The Rotling variety is a mixture of white and red grapes or their mash prior to fermentation. Although the colour is similar to rosé, it is actually quite different from it.

The wine is half dry and is coming from the Franken region in Germany. The bottle has an unusual round shape which dates back to the 16th century. It is called the Bocksbeutel and may be used only for the Franken wines.

And finally, maybe I should say something for the wine itself! To be honest I didn't like it much. It is not white, but not red either. The taste is too sweet and the finishing was actually absent. Maybe I should give it a try with a more expensive representative of the Rotling.

Rocca dei Forti Vino Spumante Brut

This nice Italian sparkling wine from the Abruzzo region in Italy is very suitable for a small celebration and is a good value for a money (about 8 Euro). It does add to the festive mood with its very light sparkles and beautiful light ruby colour.

The wine has a very delicate and fine taste with а sweet spice. Best served at 12° C I think it goes best with any starter or ors d'oeuvre.

My first impression from the wine and the bottle itself is a of a delicate and very light table wine, which looks stylish and festive.
